Melissa has been in this business for over 15 years. As a Manager and Vice President of Keen Productions she was involved with the Grammy Association, BMI, ASCAP, Universal Records, William Morris Endeavor, Monterey Peninsula Artist, and we are thrilled to now be working with her and are looking forward to the future! |

Buster Jiggs is Organic Texas Rock, basically it is Rock N’ Roll with Groove. They have a masterful texture of sound with their soulful lyrics, vividly tight rhythm section, vibrant, in your face lead guitar, and killer three part harmony. Don’t let the name fool you, Buster Jiggs is commanded by female singer, songwriter, and guitarist Kristin Muennink. The band is based out of Hondo, TX, though two of its members live in San Marcos and Austin, TX. Scott Muennink began playing drums at the age of 11. He played in an Alternative band during High School, in a hard rock band through college, and dabbled in few country bands before starting his own band with his wife in 1999; now known as Buster Jiggs. He is also one of the main songwriters of the group shared only with his wife, vocalist/guitarist Kristin Muennink. Her musical career started with Buster Jiggs. She played acoustic rhythm guitar, mandolin and was the harmony vocalist when the band first began. In 2007 she became the lead vocalist, along with opting for an electric guitar instead of a tradional acoustic (usually a ’74 Gibson or ’52 Tele reissue depending on what the night has in store). Though they are the only two left from the original band they have picked up some amazingly talented artists along the way. Bass player/harmony vocalist Daniel Rhodes joined the band in the fall of 2011. Daniel studied jazz at Texas State University, has traveled the world playing music for multiple artists and has played on a host of albums beginning in 2000. Lead guitarist/harmony vocalist Austin Gilliam joined in the fall of 2012. Scott and Kristin had known Austin for many years though never had the opportunity to jam with him until now. He too has played with multiple artists across this great nation, either on lead guitar or bass, but always with an exclamation point! He is also talented in the studio. He has played on, and produced multiple albums, including his own. Independently they are a very talented group of individuals, but together the music along with their high energy shows is simply an amazing experience. Buster Jiggs has just released their newest project "Dirty Little Secrets" which you can get today at any live show, iTunes, or Lone Star Muisc. A little bit of fun fact information is that the band name comes from a character in an old cowboy poem, "The Sierry Petes (or Tying the Knots in the Devil's Tail)" written in 1917 by Gail Gardner. Hence the groups logo of a boot wearing, guitar brandishing devil, with a few knots in his tail. |
